Double-braid construction features a tightly braided outer jacket over a braided inner core. Essentially a rope within a rope. This design provides approximately twice the breaking strength of standard solid-braid polyester halyard, delivering superior durability and longevity.

This is a critical component of any flagpole system and is our first choice for re-roping a flagpole when customers want the best available double-braid polyester halyard.

Rope Size Warning — Read Before Ordering

Be careful when selecting rope size.

#16 (1/2″) rope is extremely thick and will fit only one of our trucks: #HDT2 (shown on our Trucks page).
This size is NOT commonly used in the flag industry and will likely NOT fit standard pulleys or trucks.
We offer this size only for customers using our #HDT2 truck or those who have built custom oversized trucks designed to accept large-diameter halyard.
